A short introduction to the South East Asia map
South East Asia is actually a sub- region of Asia. The South East Asia Map clearly puts it between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. It can also be said that it is located on the eastern side of the east side of India.
If one looks at a map of South East Asia, one will find a geographical region of Indo-China and the Malay Archipelago. The first region consists of the countries of Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, West Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar. The second region consists of countries of East Malaysia, Brunei and the islands of Philippines, Timor-Leste, Indonesia and Singapore.
South East Asia is an important part of Asia not only because it takes up a huge geographical area but because it has viable tourist interest as well. People from all over the world throng the South East Asian countries because of their scenic beauty and the veritable tourist spots they contain. Countries like Thailand, Philippines and Singapore should be mentioned in this regard and all of them manage to attract a number of tourists from all over the world year round. Moreover, the Indo- Malaya eco- zone, that consists of Southern China, the Indian subcontinent and South East Asia is one of the foremost eco- centric zones in the whole world, making it all the more important.
